I grew up playing a little bit of everything, but my two true loves were running and soccer. In college, I joined the lacrosse team and discovered weightlifting. After graduation, I found women’s professional football and spent five wonderful years playing with the West Michigan Mayhem and the Detroit Dark Angels (now Detroit Venom), including a run at the National Championship with the Dark Angels in 2019.

I started dabbling in CrossFit in 2014 as a way to train for football, and eventually shifted my focus from the field to the gym. Coaching CrossFit since 2019, I've been inspired by the positive influence I've had from my coaches in every sport I’ve played. I've learned something from each of them and have seen firsthand how following and sticking to a plan gets results and changes lives. The consistency and dedication required to show up every day at the gym also improves quality of life outside the gym.
